Introducing Center City's most dynamic fitness center!
It's Spring Training at Dilworth Park! Starting on March 17, Dilworth Park is hosting a variety of sports and fitness programs - everything from bocce to Zumba - all set at the gateway to historic City Hall and presented by our partner, Rothman Institute. All programs are free, and are designed to keep you informed, in shape and right in the heart of the city. These are the Spring Training events kicking off in March. We'll have even more in April! Lunch & Learn

Grab your lunch and learn a little something on the side. Hear from expert trainers and fitness gurus as they share their personal training tips.

Soccer Shots
This one is for the kids! Soccer Shots is a quality, high-energy soccer program that focuses on character development and soccer education, all in the name of good fun and a rewarding experience. Pre registration required: SoccerShots.org/philadelphia/

Bootcamp

Push your limits with these total body workouts. Each week, meet up with different Philly trainers who have their own high intensity approaches to whip you into shape.

March 19 & 26, 6pm
Zumba

Not only a great calorie burner, Zumba lets you get your body going while indulging in the spicy sounds of Latin and pop music.

March 18 & 25, 6pm
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, so come give it a try. Join the team from Balance Studios for training in this Brazilian martial art.

March 25, 6pm
Urban Riding Basics

Presented by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia
One-hour class taught by Bicycle Coalition staff. Topics covered include everything you need to learn about biking in the city. You don't need to bring a bicycle - this is an off-bike class.

March 18 & 25, 6:30pm
City Fit Girls Running Club

Every Wednesday, grab your running shoes and meet at the Dilworth Park information center for a 3-mile run through Center City. City Fit Girls is an all-levels fitness and run group for active women who live and work in the city.

Crafternoon

For a chance to escape cabin fever in these remaining cold days of winter, come to Crafternoon at the Logan Square Café! Kids can enjoy nature and seasonally-inspired stories and crafts at the café inside Sister Cities Park with our friends from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. This FREE activity is open to children of all ages. Afterword, check out the café's offerings, including sandwiches, salads, and warm and toasty hot cocoa!

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
