Dog Days

Stop by the Dog Days at Dilworth booth each day to check out a personal dog trainer, ask a local veterinarian a question or learn about adopting your own furry friend. Dog Days partners: The Philly Dog, Zoom Room, Muttropolitan, Whole Animal Gym, Queen Village Animal Hospital, Morris Animal Refuge, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, Red Paw Emergency Relief Team and Dilworth Park Café.

Yappy Hours

Come, sit and stay at Dilworth Park's Yappy Hours, part of Dog Days at Dilworth Park! Pets and owners are invited to come to the southern end of the park and join the Friends of Center City and Dilworth Park for CCD Sips-priced cocktails, featuring: $5 sangria, $4 wine and $3 beer. Also- post a photo to Instagram of your dog at Yappy Hours tagged #YappyHours and #DilworthPark and you could win prizes! Yappy Hours partners: Zoom Room, Whole Animal Gym, Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, Morris Animal Refuge, Red Paw Emergency Relief Team and Dilworth Park Café.

Farmers' Market at Dilworth Park
Get your fill of fresh at this weekly farmers' market, where everything goes right from the dirt to Dilworth. Health is definitely in season, and with an abundance of delicious food direct from the farm, you never know what deals might crop up! Look for products from McCann's Farm and Mahogany Essentials, along with other special guest vendors throughout the season.

Wednesdays, 5-7pm
Center City District Sips at Dilworth Park

On Wednesdays, the Dilworth Park Café participates in this Center City summertime tradition, offering $3 beers, $4 wines, and $5 cocktails featuring Two Gingers Whiskey to sip on the large outdoor terrace adjacent to the Dilworth Park Café. PNC presents Live @ Lunch
Philadelphia's center stage shines every Wednesday afternoon with a showcase of performing arts. September performances carry a theme of world music.

This BYOB event features singer-songwriter style live music from 5:30-7:30pm each week. Logan Square Café inside the park offers a special summer grilling menu and the Children's Discovery Garden offers extended hours on Thursdays.

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
