Parkway Pals Play Day - Saturday, May 18

Get outside for a gaggle of good times! Play Day at Sister Cities Park is the official kick-off celebration of the 2019 Parkway Pals season. This day-long celebration of laughter and learning will debut on Saturday, May 18 from 11AM-3PM.

Kids and their parents are invited to enjoy an array of free activities and entertainment, which will include book readings from authors and illustrators, B101’s Jessie Jordan and more. The park’s lawn will transform into a playing field during an energetic Soccer Shots demonstration, while Silly Joe leads a sing-along and the Geography Lady gives a lesson on world travel.

Don't miss special appearances from Marty the Moose from the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University as well as everyone’s favorite pups on patrol. These meet-and-greet characters will be joined by a real-life Philadelphia Police K-9!

Center City District SIPS Returns June 5

This summer, Center City District and EFFEN Original Vodka partner for the return of Center City District SIPS, the highly anticipated, Happy Hour tradition.

Beginning June 5, Center City District SIPS takes place in bars and restaurants on Wednesday evenings from 5:00PM - 7:00PM through August 28. More than 80 participating bars will offer $6 signature cocktails featuring EFFEN Vodka, $5 wine, $4 beer and half-priced appetizers.
