Pairings on the Parkway at Sister Cities Park!
Every week this summer, come to Sister Cities Park for BYO Thursdays, 5-8pm.  Logan Square Café offers a special summer grilling menu each week. Take a seat at one of the café tables inside or outside or bring a blanket and find a nice spot under a tree or on the grass to enjoy the free live music.

Make it a romantic evening, a girls’ night out, or bring the whole family and enjoy the Children’s Discovery Garden. Sister Cities Park is located at 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. For more details, visit SisterCitiesPark.org.

A Lawn Tour Atop a Skyscraper
The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society leads public tours of the green roof at PECO’s downtown Philadelphia headquarters on the third Tuesday of each month, April through October, at 5pm. The green roof helps keep rainwater out of Philadelphia’s aged sewer system and captures 60 to 70 percent (more during the growing season) of rainwater that falls on the roof, an estimated 1.6 million gallons per year. At 45,000 square feet, the PECO green roof offers stunning views of the city. Tours are $5 for PHS members and $10 for non-members. Pre-registration is required two days in advance of the tour and must be accompanied by payment. There is a short orientation preceding the tour.

A New Floral Subscription Service
Philadelphia’s first floral subscription service, The Flwry, launches next month and a limited number of memberships are available now. Each membership runs for six months and every floral bundle includes about two-dozen freshly cut, locally-grown flowers. You can choose a once- or twice-monthly pickup. The Center City pick up location is Elixir Coffee on 207 South Sydenham Street. Also, throughout May, Volver, a.bar, The Dandelion and others will have a special Flwry cocktail on the menu to remind diners that beautiful blooms are just a sign-up away.
