This holiday season, Dilworth Park will host the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market, showcasing local artists, crafters, confectioners and designers. From November 21-December 27, holiday shoppers can find unique gifts and special holiday foods. This new concept will be a platform for local artists like Philly Word Art, designers like Beaucycled and Saffron Creations, crafters like soapmaker Mahogany Essentials and candlemaker Accent Aroma. It will feature local editors Camino Books and Paul Dry Books with Philadelphia-themed publications. The Artisan Bakery will include T Bake Shoppe, Picket Fence Confections, gourmet chocolates by Tradestone Confections, and flavored kettle corn by Philly Pop Kettle Corn. Philly Snack Food will serve Philly Pretzels, Potato Tornados and Mini Donuts along with hot chocolate to enjoy a pleasant winter day at Dilworth Park.

The Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park is open on the west side of City Hall! Admission is $3 for children ages 10 and under and $5 for adults. Skate rental is $9. Plus, the new Rothman Cabin is steps away from the rink with tasty food and drink from Rosa Blanca Café. The Rothman Institute Ice Rink is sponsored by Rothman Institute, PNC Bank, 6abc, and Temple University Center City. All Aboard the Santa Express!
On November 27, Santa Claus is coming to the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park on SEPTA. Board festive decorated SEPTA trains filled with entertainment for a fun-filled holiday ride to Dilworth Park. Visit SEPTA.org for train times and locations. A parade will welcome Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the elves to the rink, where you can skate with Santa. The rink will be open from 11am-11pm.

Thanksgiving Day Parade
Now in its 96th year, the 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade promises another visual and celebratory feast. City streets will make way for massive floats and giant balloons, with choirs, dance groups, marching bands and more. Through December 13, you can bring an unwrapped toy to Five Below’s Toys for Tots drop site. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys each year and distributes them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the local community.
