Wintergarden at Dilworth Park opens November 10!
The season kicks off at Noon, with a salute to veterans and active military, including free skating on the Rothman Institute Ice Rink with military ID until 11pm. All visitors are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for Liberty USO's Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Also opening is the Rothman Institute Cabin and Air Grille with great wintry food and drink all season long! You can also stroll the lush America's Garden Capital Maze, back for its second season on the south end of Dilworth Park. Opening November 20
Deck the Hall Light Show presented by Independence Blue Cross
New to Dilworth Park this season- an animated light show, synchronized with holiday music and projected on City Hall. In collaboration with 6abc, this choreographed light show will be presented multiple times nightly, seven days a week, through January 1. Calling All Gingerbread Contractors
Showcase your architectural, engineering, and culinary skills and compete to win $500 in the Center / Architecture + Design's second annual Gingerbread Challenge. The gingerbread structures will be displayed at the Center for Architecture and Design and the winner will be determined by popular vote. The competition is open to individuals and teams of any size and entries can come from anyone. Entry is free, click here for complete rules and to register by November 17. Entries must be delivered to the Center by December 2.
