The Rothman Institute Ice Rink Closes this Month!
M-Th: Noon-9pm; F: Noon-11pm; Sa: 11am-11pm; Su: 11am-8pm
You only have until February 25 to enjoy this unparalleled entertainment experience in a wonderfully unique urban setting. Open daily (including Presidents' Day, February 19, 11am-9pm), admission is $3 for children ages 10 and under and $5 for adults. Skate rental is $10. Penguin skate aids, $10. Wednesdays, 6pm
Start the new year off right with weekly workouts led by professional trainers on the Rothman Rink. Regular admission and skate rental fees apply. Class is designed for intermediate and experienced skaters.

College Nights
Thursdays, 5-9pm
College students show their ID and pay $2 for admission plus skate rental for an evening of fun with friends at the Rothman Rink. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

Sled Skating presented by Magee Rehabilitation Hospital
February 3, 9:15am-10:45am
The Rothman Rink is accessible for everyone again this season! With sled skating, adults and children with disabilities can reserve a sled to use during the scheduled sessions. Reservations are required. Click here for a complete schedule and to register.

Sweetheart Skate
February 14, 4-8pm

Buy one admission and get one admission free* to skate with your sweetheart on the Rothman Rink. Inside the Rothman Cabin, cozy cocktails featuring DeKuyper cordial flavors will warm your heart.

* Special rink admission pricing cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Excludes skate rental


Rothman Institute Cabin
M-Th: 4-9pm; F: 4-11pm; Sa: 11am-11pm; Su: 11am-8pm

Cozy up with warm cocktails like DeKuyper Cordial-spiked Hot Chocolate or festive drinks featuring Hornitos Tequila along with craft beers from Victory Brewing and Stella Artois. Many offerings to savor and share such as mac and cheese and chili are available on the artfully crafted menu. Adults 21 and over can enjoy a glass of wine, a specialty cocktail and a selection of beer starting at 5pm on weekdays, and 11am on the weekends. Whether it’s Battleship, Checkers, or Operation, Rothman Cabin has the games, playful cocktails- featuring Hornitos Tequila- and food to keep the fun and laughter flowing.

Cocktails and Cold Ones
Wednesdays, 5-7pm
Enjoy this winter happy hour in the Rothman Cabin with $6 Effen Vodka cocktails, $5 wine and $4 Bud Light draft beers, along with specially-priced food items from the Dilworth Park Air Grille. Need a ride? Lyft is the official rideshare partner for the Rothman Cabin.

Karaoke Nights
Fridays, 6-9pm
Sing the night away in the Rothman Cabin with tunes, drinks, food, and good times!


There's Still Time to Host a Winter Party in Dilworth Park!
The Rothman Ice Rink and Cabin at Dilworth Park are the coolest places in Center City to host your winter event! You can rent all, or just a portion of the Rothman Cabin, with catering provided exclusively by Brûlée Catering. If you are looking for something special, invite your guests to experience America's Garden Capital Maze! The Wintergarden is the newest location in Dilworth Park for a unique and magical outdoor event. You can add the Wintergarden Maze to your cabin rental or rent just the Maze for a private cocktail reception. Click here for more information.

America's Garden Capital Maze
Stroll through the America's Garden Capital Maze at Dilworth Park, a holiday-inspired garden created in partnership with Greater Philadelphia Gardens. For more information, visit DilworthPark.org/wintergarden/maze/. The maze is also supported by Ambler Arboretum of Temple University.

Feeling garden inspiration? Join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for a variety of gardening workshops that will have you dreaming of spring! All programs are free, but registration is required at PHSOnline.org/wintergarden. All garden programs are held in the Rothman Cabin.

Show your Valentine extra love by creating a floral headpiece or boutonniere that would make cupid proud.

Seed Starting (Adults)
February 6, 5:30-6:30pm
Get a jump on Spring! Learn the basics of starting seeds indoors and out. Participants will take home newly planted seeds to transplant in their garden.

Garden Snow Globe (Family)
February 24, 10-11am
Create a mini snowy garden to inspire your family to dig in and garden together.

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day.

Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by the Center City District Foundation.
