Get fit at Center City's most dynamic fitness center!
It's Spring Training at Dilworth Park! Welcome the return of spring with a variety of sports and fitness programs - everything from bocce to Zumba - all set at the gateway to historic City Hall and presented by our partner, Rothman Institute. Most programs are free, and are designed to keep you informed and in shape, right in the heart of the city. Schedule and programs subject to change. Visit DilworthPark.org for details.

Lunch & Learn

Grab your lunch and learn a little something on the side. Hear from expert trainers and fitness gurus as they share their personal nutrition and other tips in the Spring Training HQ.

City Fit Girls Running Club

Every Wednesday, grab your running shoes and meet at the Dilworth Park information center for a 3-mile run through Center City. City Fit Girls is an all-levels fitness and run group for active women who live and work in the city.

Tuesdays, 6pm
Bootcamp

Push your limits with these total body workouts. Each week, meet up with different Philly trainers who have their own high intensity approaches to whip you into shape.

Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is a quality, high-energy soccer program that focuses on character development and soccer education, all in the name of good fun and a rewarding experience. Pre registration required: SoccerShots.org/philadelphia/

Dinner & Discussions

Can't make it to a Lunch & Learn fitness and health session? No problem- Rothman Institute specialists share their orthopaedic expertise on Tuesday evenings.

Zumba

Not only a great calorie burner, Zumba lets you get your body going while indulging in the spicy sounds of Latin and pop music.

Wednesdays, Noon
Yoga

Take a moment to breathe, relax and quiet your mind midday while building up muscle, strength and balance. Be sure to bring your own mat, to stretch along with the city's top fitness experts.

April 15, 6pm
Urban Riding Basics

Presented by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia
One-hour class taught by Bicycle Coalition staff. Topics covered include everything you need to learn about biking in the city. You don't need to bring a bicycle - this is an off-bike class.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, so come give it a try. Join the team from Balance Studios for training in this Brazilian martial art.

Major League Bocce

Looking for a sport that is fun and social? This spring, Major League Bocce brings the courts and bocce balls right to the Greenfield Lawn. There is a fee for the league. To register, visit philly.MajorLeagueBocce.com.

New- Weekend Brunch @ Logan Square Café!
Logan Square Café will begin offering BYOB table service brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 3pm. Walk-up service will still be available, with high-top tables reserved for customers using the walk-up counter. Low-top tables will be used for the table service. Weather permitting, outside seating will be available for both types, with fountain-side tables reserved for table service. So, BYO and enjoy a lovely brunch on the Parkway this spring!

Crafternoon

For a chance to escape cabin fever in these remaining cold days of winter, come to Crafternoon at the Logan Square Café! Kids can enjoy nature and seasonally-inspired stories and crafts at the café inside Sister Cities Park with our friends from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. This FREE activity is open to children of all ages. Afterword, check out the café's offerings, including sandwiches, salads, and warm and toasty hot cocoa!

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
