Sips at Dilworth Park
The Dilworth Park Café provides a Center City oasis with outdoor seating, $3 beer, $4 wine and $5 Effen cocktails, along with a DJ each week to get you in the mood to groove. After Sips, stick around for more fun, as the DJ spins until 8:30pm.

All-American BBQ
This BBQ will get your taste buds watering with a beer garden and foods hot off the grill, plus tasty BBQ, from the Dilworth Park Café.

Pairings on the Parkway
Thursdays, 5-8pm

This BYOB event returns for another season at Sister Cities Park, featuring singer-songwriter style live music each week, 5:30-7:30pm. Logan Square Café inside the park will offer a special summer grilling menu and the Children's Discovery Garden will offer extended hours. Chaddsford Winery will be on hand with wine for sale by the glass or bottle.

Story Art

Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Free Library of Philadelphia for a nature-inspired story and craft. A new nature theme - frogs, flowers, fish and more - will be featured each week as kids discover the fun of being read to outdoors and creating their own make-and-take nature craft. Free.

Grow up Green

Outdoor play inspires a greater connection with the outdoor world. Each week a different activity will be introduced by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation staff. Children ages 3 and over are encouraged to attend. Free.

Nature in the Park

Join The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University at Sister Cities Park every other Thursday for fun-filled activities for your budding young scientist! Each week has a theme where children can stop by to learn about dinosaurs, nature, history, and more!

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day.

Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by the Center City District Foundation.
