Pictures in the Park
Get lost in the latest Hollywood blockbusters right in the cozy confines of William Penn's new front yard. Bring your own chair, grab dinner and a drink at Rosa Blanca Café, and then settle in for a one-of-a-kind cinema experience.

Farmers' Market at Dilworth Park
Get your fill of fresh at this weekly farmers' market, where everything goes right from the dirt to Dilworth. Health is definitely in season, and with an abundance of delicious food direct from the farm, you never know what deals might crop up!

Wednesdays, 5-7pm
Center City District Sips at Dilworth Park
Every Wednesday, Rosa Blanca Café at Dilworth Park will participate in this Center City summertime tradition, offering $3 beers, $4 wines, and $5 cocktails featuring Two Gingers Whiskey to sip on the large outdoor terrace adjacent to the café. Rhythms at Rosa Blanca

Philadelphia's center stage shines every Thursday evening with a showcase of local summer music, right at the PNC Terrace. Plus, you'll be able to enjoy great happy hour specials from Rosa Blanca Café.

Pairings on the Parkway
Thursdays, 5-8pm

Every week this summer, come to Sister Cities Park for BYO Thursdays. Take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside the cafe or bring a blanket and find a favorite spot under a tree or on the grass. Logan Square Café will offer a special summer grilling menu. Make it a romantic evening, a girls' night out, or bring the whole family and enjoy the Children's Discovery Garden; Plus, there's live music every week!

Story Art

Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Free Library of Philadelphia for a nature-inspired story and craft. A new nature theme - frogs, flowers, fish and more - will be featured each week as kids discover the fun of being read to outdoors and creating their own make-and-take nature craft. Free.

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a quality, high-energy soccer program that focuses on character development and soccer education, all in the name of good fun and a rewarding experience. Pre registration required: SoccerShots.org/philadelphia/

Free Fitness Philly

Free weekly Pop-Up Fitness bootcamp classes in Sister Cities Park! Their goal is to make fitness a habit that you won't want to break! Superior classes facilitated by licensed fitness trainers.

Join the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University at Sister Cities Park every other Tuesday at 10:30am for fun-filled natural science activities for your budding young scientist! Free.

Children and Nature: Growing Up Green

Outdoor play inspires a greater connection with the outdoor world. Each week a different activity will be introduced by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation staff. Children, ages 3 and over are encouraged to attend. Free.

Meet and Greet with Super WHY!

Meet your favorite literacy-powered superhero, Super Why, at Sister Cities Park! Be sure to bring your camera and favorite book to capture your special meet and greet moments. Plus, there'll be a special offer for WHYY Kids Club members at Rita's Italian Ice and Logan Square Café.

ArtSee in the Park

Grow your imagination muscles with delightful ArtSee activities and stories from your friends at the Barnes Foundation. Take a line for a walk! Discover space! Find colors! Light the way with play! With plenty of projects designed to tickle your creativity, there is much to see, do, and try as you explore the wonderful world of art and nature. Free.

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
