Farmers' Market at Dilworth Park
Get your fill of fresh at this weekly farmers' market, where everything goes right from the dirt to Dilworth. Health is definitely in season, and with an abundance of delicious food direct from the farm, you never know what deals might crop up! Look for products from McCann's Farm and Mahogany Essentials, along with other special guest vendors throughout the season.

Wednesdays, 5-7pm
Center City District Sips at Dilworth Park

On Wednesdays, the Dilworth Park Café participates in this Center City summertime tradition, offering $3 beers, $4 wines, and $5 cocktails featuring Two Gingers Whiskey to sip on the large outdoor terrace adjacent to the Dilworth Park Café. National Dog Day is in August and Dilworth Park is celebrating with TD Bank!

Stop by the Dog Days at Dilworth booth each day to check out a pet product retailer, ask questions of a professional trainer or learn how to adopt your own furry friend.

Yappy Hours

Come, sit and stay at Dilworth Park's Yappy Hours, part of Dog Days at Dilworth Park! Pets and owners are invited to come to the southern end of the park and join the Friends of Center City and Dilworth Park for CCD Sips-priced cocktails, featuring: $5 sangria, $4 wine and $3 beer.

Thursdays, 5-8pm

This BYOB event features singer-songwriter style live music from 5:30-7:30pm each week. Logan Square Café inside the park offers a special summer grilling menu and the Children's Discovery Garden offers extended hours on Thursdays.

Story Art

Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Free Library of Philadelphia for a nature-inspired story and craft. A new nature theme - frogs, flowers, fish and more - will be featured each week as kids discover the fun of being read to outdoors and creating their own make-and-take nature craft. Free.

Children & Nature: Grow up Green

Outdoor play inspires a greater connection with the outdoor world. Each week a different activity will be introduced by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation staff. Children ages 3 and over are encouraged to attend. Free.

Art in the Park presented by the
Philadelphia Museum of Art

Museum educators will be on hand to show how to be inspired by the different works from the Museum's renowned collection. Art projects will change weekly. Free.

Nature in the Park
Join the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University at Sister Cities Park at 10:30am for fun-filled natural science activities for your budding young scientist! Free.

John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
