Octoberfest at Dilworth Park
October 17-18, 5-9pm; October 19, 11am-9pm; October 20, 12-8pm; October 21, 12-6pm
This annual five-day festival and fall tradition is sponsored by Lyft, the official ride to Dilworth Park. Wednesday-Sunday, enjoy craft beer in the Goose Island Beer Garden, fall-themed cocktails featuring Maker's Mark, cider from Stella Artois Cidre, along with warm and hearty fall foods from the Dilworth Park Café and Air Grille. Wednesday evening, Octoberfest will kick off with a pop-up Pep Rally to celebrate Temple University's Homecoming. All Owls Fans and Temple Alumni should make sure to stop by and show their school spirit!
Stop by for DJs and live music on The Met Philadelphia stage all weekend, and a beer stein holding contest on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Lyft is presenting a pumpkin carving contest (Click Here to register your carving creation to win a Jim Beam electric fireplace and $100 ride credit from Lyft!), along with pumpkin tic-tac-toe, cornhole bean-bag toss and other family fun!
Plus, there will be free apple cider every day (while supplies last) courtesy of Lyft, your responsible ride home from Octoberfest.

Blues, Booze & Brews
Wednesdays, 5-7pm
A new event this fall, through a partnership with The Met Philadelphia, brings the blues to Dilworth Park. Visitors can relax and enjoy the soulful vibes with drinks including $5 beer featuring Bud Light, $6 wine, and $7 cocktails featuring seasonal specialties from Maker's Mark. Fall fare from Brûlée Catering will be available at the Air Grille.

Vintage Picnic
October 26, 5:30-8:30pm
Celebrate the era the Parkway got its start with a Vintage BYO Picnic at Sister Cities Park, part of the Parkway Soiree, a celebration of 100 years of the Parkway. A grassy spot will be waiting for you to enjoy your food and drink while listening to the sounds of hot jazz, pop and blues. Philadelphia's favorite vintage band, Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society will be playing, along with dancers from the Old City Sweethearts. Plus, play some of the classics, like croquet, chess, checkers and more! Come dressed in your vintage finery and commemorate the Parkway's early days. |

Art Inside Out- Final Month!
The Philadelphia Museum of Art's Inside Out installation at Sister Cities Park ends October 28! The program brings large-scale replicas of favorite works from the Museum's collection to neighborhoods in and around Philadelphia. Take these last few weeks to stroll around the park and enjoy works by Tanner, Saenredam, De Ribera and others. Stop by and enjoy some art Inside Out! |

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day.
Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by the Center City District Foundation.
