MAKE REAL CHANGE Amidst holiday shopping, parties or while finishing year-end projects, please take just a few minutes to stop by our Open House at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to help those who are homeless by supporting organizations that provide many things that we may take for granted. Open House More than a dozen organizations that provide food, emergency and permanent housing, jobs and social services will be staffing information tables explaining how they could do more to help homeless people if they had more volunteers, resources and money. Learn how you can volunteer your time, donate needed supplies or make tax-deductible charitable contributions to help end the cycle of homelessness. Philadelphia faces a significant challenge in our shared public spaces with homelessness and aggressive panhandling. Crafting solutions requires a broad, collaborative response by public agencies, residential, civic nonprofit and business groups. This is just one part of a coordinated strategy.
