Washington, D.C.-based MRP Realty purchased the Bourse, a 700,000-square-foot office building portfolio on the east side of Independence Mall, for $100 million in December 2015, as their first office acquisition in Center City. Plans include both upgrading the office space as well as repositioning the ground-floor retail at The Bourse into an upscale food hall. Come hear Charles F. McGrath, Managing Director at MRP Realty, discuss the strategy for their Independence Mall portfolio and what attracted them to Philadelphia; learn from others how this area of Center City is being transformed.
