Eastern State Penitentiary Holiday Toy Drive
One in 28 American kids has a parent behind bars. Eastern State Penitentiary is partnering with Philadelphia FIGHT’s Institute for Community Justice, Why Not Prosper, the Philadelphia Department of Prisons, and the Center for Returning Citizens to collect gifts for local children with incarcerated parents. Through December 24, any visitor who donates a new toy or children's book, in its original packaging (but please no gift wrap), will be granted a second admission free of charge. Please feel free to donate new toys or children's books at Eastern State during public hours, even if you're not planning to take a tour.

Happy Hour to Support Urbanstead
Join Urbanstead for fellowship and cocktails at The Field House on December 8! Through urban farming, Urbanstead works to achieve healthy futures by uniting the community and operating programs that directly empower Philadelphia's vulnerable youth.
