It's Center City District Restaurant Week!
Through January 26, participating restaurants are offering three-course dinners for only $35 and three-course lunches for $20. One Book, One Philadelphia Kickoff
Celebrate this year's One Book One Philadelphia selection, Another Brooklyn, with a free kickoff event January 17 at 7:30pm. Join featured author Jacqueline Woodson for an evening of conversation, reading, and performance. In conversation with WHYY's Katie Colaneri, Ms. Woodson will discuss identity, shifting cultural landscapes, and other themes in her writing. The event will conclude with a performance inspired by Another Brooklyn from 2016-17 Philadelphia Poet Laureate Yolanda Wisher with members of her band, The Afroeaters. Book signing to follow.

America's Garden Capital Maze
Stroll through the America's Garden Capital Maze at Dilworth Park, a holiday-inspired garden created in partnership with Greater Philadelphia Gardens. The maze is also supported by Ambler Arboretum of Temple University. Join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for a variety of gardening workshops that will have you dreaming of spring! All programs are free- get a listing of classes and register at PHSOnline.org/wintergarden. All garden programs are held in the Rothman Cabin.
