 The Rothman Institute Ice Rink
is Open!

The Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park is an unparalleled entertainment experience in a wonderfully unique urban setting. The rink is even open throughout the holidays: Christmas Eve, 11am-7pm; Christmas Day, Noon-8pm; December 26-30, 11am-11pm; New Year's Eve, 11am-11pm; New Year's Day, 11am-9pm. Thursdays, 5-9pm
College Nights
College students show their ID and pay $2 for admission plus skate rental for an evening of fun with friends at the Rothman Rink. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
Coming in January
Sled Skating presented by Magee Rehabilitation Hospital
The Rothman Ice Rink is accessible for everyone again this season! With sled skating, adults and children with disabilities can reserve a sled to use during the scheduled sessions.

Deck the Hall Light Show presented by Independence Blue Cross
New to Dilworth Park this season! Center City District, in collaboration with 6abc, brings City Hall to life this holiday season with the Deck the Hall Light Show presented by Independence Blue Cross. This free nightly choreographed light show, projected onto Philadelphia's historic City Hall, happens every hour on the half hour and more frequently on weekends through January 1. Following each show, City Hall will remain in color, in order to highlight the architecture of the building until the next show begins. During the holidays, hours will match the Rothman Rink's expanded hours
Cozy up with warm cocktails like DeKuyper Cordial-spiked Hot Chocolate or festive drinks featuring Hornitos Tequila along with craft beers from Victory Brewing and Stella Artois. Many offerings to savor and share such as mac and cheese and chili are available on the artfully crafted menu. Adults 21 and over can enjoy a glass of wine, a specialty cocktail and a selection of beer starting at 5pm on weekdays, and 11am on the weekends. From the folks who bring you Center City District Sips, enjoy this winter edition in the Rothman Cabin with $6 Effen Vodka cocktails, $5 wine and $4 Bud Light draft beers, along with specially-priced food items from the Dilworth Park Air Grille. After a busy day of holiday shopping, pop into the cabin for a drink special, and get a Lyft. Lyft is the official rideshare partner for the Rothman Cabin.

 America's Garden Capital Maze
Stroll through America's Garden Capital Maze at Dilworth Park, a holiday-inspired garden created in

Feeling garden inspiration? Join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for a variety of gardening workshops that will have you dreaming of spring! Representatives from the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University will be on hand to lead “Ask the Expert” sessions in the America’s Garden Capital Maze following each workshop. All programs are free, but registration is required at phsonline.org/wintergarden. All garden programs are held in the Rothman Cabin.

This holiday season, have Brunch with Santa at the Logan Square Café in Sister Cities Park! December 16, seatings at 8am, 10am and Noon; December 17, seatings at 9am and 11am. $15.95 for children 12 and under, $22.95 for adults, FREE one year and under. Reservation required. Includes a free skating pass for the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park! Children one year and under must purchase a ticket if they require a seat.

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day.
Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by the Center City District Foundation.
